well.....the 10 year high school reunion is approaching. and i can't lie about the fact that i'm oddly looking forward to it. i recognize that most people fall into one of these several categories when it comes to such events:
1. will not set foot on reunion turf for as long as they live
2. will reluctantly go (as a graduate of the class or as a spouse)
3. will go, and plan ahead the best outfit for weeks in advance
i think i'm a number 3. why? because i had a pretty good high school experience. no bullies or enemies are coming to mind when i think of those 4 formative years. i don't think anyone will think of me as a bully or enemy either. so, i'm looking forward to it with some healthy anticipation.
(on a sidenote, i'm in charge of nametags. would it be too mean to scan our senior pics and make them into stickers? and if you are a guest, you get to wear the picture of the person you are with, possibly with the word "guest"?)

we did the name tags w/ the senior class photos for my 15 year HS reunion last year. it was a HOOT to see everyone as a walking "then and now".
We had pictures on ours too.
Make sure you put the guests' name on theirs too. Along with guest. (maybe no picture of their spouse... some might think their spouse got a sex change and its really them.)
I can safely say that I would not want to wear my senior picture on my person throughout my reunion. :-) But, that's because I'm wearing overalls and a hat in my yearbook photo, I think.
My 10-year is coming up in September and I'm not attending for proximity reasons. If I lived in Toledo still, I'd more than likely go...out of curiosity, but undoubtedly leave early.
Have fun!
