i flipped past a discovery channel show documenting a team of people uncovering the sunken titanic and exploring the remains. i've always been fascinated with the titanic disaster (before Jack and Rose exclaimed "i'll never let go!!" and celine's voice was plastered all over the radio), and it was really interesting.
however, there was this bedroom (supposedly the one where Jack was sketching Rose) and the ledge on the mantle over the fireplace had this clock still settled in its place. i'm NO expert at the physics of sunken ships, but this one has got me confused and i've thought of it often over the past few days.

Hi M. This is A.M. (used to be bluffton) I hope your move went well down yonder=+)
Just enjoy the series. It's some of the best photography ever and those folk understand how to build a story with suspence.
Perhaps the clock was fixed to the mantle?
yeah, but why would a clock be fixed to a mantle? i've never heard of that?!
