i usually don't do the Kudos on Monday, but this deserves it.
i was so VERY pleased that i had to have my 1st oil change for my Honda Civic this morning.
AFTER 7,208 MILES!
(i didn't neglect the car; i got the oil change when the digital measure told me that the oil had 15% life left)
so, maybe it will hold true that the cost to own a new honda civic will be exponentially less. i'm lovin' it!

Well, it's not just Hondas. I believe the old 3,000 mile oil change has always been a way for oil companies and auto stores to make money. My 2000 Chevy I used to have would go 6500 before the change oil light came on.
