interesting....

what is up with the multimedia experience that people are being given at the gas pumps?
i was in california, and they literally had HDTV's (ok, maybe not high def., but definitely nicer than the TV i have in my living room) at the pump...playing CNN news.
there is the gas station here that i hit up on the way to work, and when you start pumping this automated voice box starts talking to you about rewards points and such (not so technologically adept, but still....a multi-sensory experience nonetheless).
i personally think it's a conspiracy so that people don't stop to realize who much money they are paying to fill up the gas tank.
