meet Marlie

(tried and true Trophy Life readers have already seen the above photo, but i have no other recent ones on this computer)
this is Marlie, she's my 3.5 year-old pug. today she has joined me at work, and is being very well-behaved and tolerating these long work-weeks quite well. so i thought i'd pay a little tribute to her by noting some special things about her.

Best Feature: curly tail
Arch Nemesis: vacuum cleaner
Favorite Way to Pass Time: stare out the window and occasionally bark
Guilty Pleasure: breath-freshening dog bones, and biting my pant legs (oh, and stealing underwear when being very sneaky)
Favorite Trick: high-five
If Reincarnated as a Human: she would surely be a college-dropout - main activities would include eating, sleeping, watching TV and gaining weight (pugs aren't the most motivated of creatures)
Hates: baths and being left out of human activities
Loves: other dogs and long walks by the ocean (or in the neighborhood for that matter)
Confused by: other dogs who bark (just doesn't get what all the fuss is about and rarely barks back)
Best Friend: Riley, her long-distance golden retriever pal and has a love-hate relationship with her bulldog friend, Arthur
