WOW.
the ipod shuffle (1 GB) is on sale for a mere $49. for holding 500 songs, this is practically like you are stealing it.
also, the 2 GB is supposed to be coming soon for the also very low price of $69.
*if you have never invested in a mp3 player, i would highly endorse the shuffle. i bought the original one (that looked like a pack of gum) several years ago and have never had to upgrade. i might be purchasing this little beauty though. i've never had a problem with NOT having a screen (or using double negatives). so if you want something cheap and highly functional, this is it.

I have a nano (the original skinny ones) and it's fine. But my father-in-law got a shuffle and I can promise you he uses his WAY more than I use mine. It cracks me up...he's retired, just likes to putz around in his work shed (woodworking, etc) and he uses his shuffle daily.
They're so small, they're adorable! (and heck, for $49 it is a steal!)
$49? Well, maybe I need to jump on this iPod wagon. For that price and that many songs, that sounds like just what I need.
