yeah, celebrating randomness...
(Warning: this entry is PG-13)
ok, once again, working with 18 year olds proves to be interesting every day.
i was getting ready to eat a banana and, as i usually do, i took off the top end and threw it away.
(disclaimer: someone once told me that spiders laid eggs on the top of them)
anyway, so i took off the top and threw it in the trash.
so, Student 1 said: What are you doing?
Me: Throwing it away, i don't eat it.
Student 1: (VERY INNOCENTLY) No! Don't do that! The tip is the best part!
Student 2: (laughs very hard, trying to hold laughter in)
Student 1: (face is bright red) Why did you have to take it there!?
Me: You guys, let's laugh about the inappropriateness, and move on.
they continued to laugh and then we maturely moved on.

Sorry, I would have laughed pretty hard too, if I were student #2!
This reminds me of the time that my friend said that she doesn't eat chicken wings because, "I don't like to put the bone in my mouth."
Very similar conversation, very similar immature laughter!
Im new to your blog but with a post that just had me laughing out loud I will be back to read more.
Funny.
