don't read this if you have yet to watch this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy...
but, here are my thoughts:
1). i will admit to crying to Meredith's little candle/architectural rendering of her and Derek's future house. but, i can't say that i'm not a BIT annoyed at the way that the writers KEEP DOING THIS!!! complicated, break-up, sleep around, get back together. but, is it for real this time? well, then what will hold our attention...which leads to next point
2). i'm not sure about this Callie/Dr. Hahn thing as far as how long this will continue...which leads to next point
3). i REALLY like Callie's hair so much better now. honestly, she used to remind me of the Starbucks emblem lady!
4). i think the 2-hour finale was so-so. i did cry a few times, but i also wondered what the deal was with EVERY plot line dealing with love. every.single.one.
oh well, those are my 2 cents.
AND I WAS SUPER IRRITATED THAT THE OFFICE WAS NOT ON LAST NIGHT!!! UGH!!

I thought the finale was just ok too. Nothing major really happened, at least nothing that we didn't already know was going to happen.
Callie and Hahn don't bother me for some reason. What bothered me was that Sloan was just standing there watching? That was weird. I like him, he needs a valid story line.
I liked Alex last night. I really felt bad for him. That guy did a good job acting.
I'm liking George TONS better now that he's not with Izzy. That Lexie bothers me though. I don't much care for her.
I like Meredith and think the Mom stuff is interesting. I agree that there's been enough flip-flopping with Derek.
Overall, not my fave episode. But I'm still a fan.
(Last week's Office was the season finale.)
Mrs. D - thanks so much for reminding me of the heartbreaking truth that last week was The Office's season finale. ugh. i think i selectively forgot b/c i was SO pissed!!
i should state for the record, that the lesbian-experimentation did not offend or bother (not that you were insinuating that it did, Mrs. D) - but i just don't know how long that "relationship" can sustain itself.
agreed, that McSteamy needs a REAL story line
Oh no, I certainly was not implying that :)
I miss the Office too.
what i want to know is this: how in the world did Meredith find all those candles in Derek's tiny little trailer and have the time to build a freakin' house with them...when he was only looking for her for like 20 minutes? please!
and really...either keep them apart or put them together. they just left us hanging with his "oh, i have to go talk to rose" thing...which leads me to believe that something BAD is going to happen to him when he's off looking for Rose..and then poor Mer will be left on that hill w/ all of her candles.
sigh.
TLC - you are right!! now i'm stressed out that McDreamy is going to get hit by a car.
However, just like when Meredith was running toward the bright light (after her water accident), my brother pointed out "the show is named after her, she cannot die".
true that.
i was a LITTLE obsessed, too, with how she set up that whole luminary house crap.
