i have a clean desk and a (generally) clean office. this makes me feel good. i do NOT understand why people sign emails "Best Regards" - it's just odd to me.
I.T. - thanks for the insight. it MUST be one of those things though...because i don't have a "working"/professional relationship with you, you could sign an email that way and i wouldn't get irritated. for whatever reason, it just struck me as cold. ?? i'm really guilty of Thanks! as an ending..which may annoy people as well.

I sign emails "Regards" all the time. I think it is more original than "Thank you" or "Sincerely."

All the Canadians I work with sign their emails with "Cheers".
Where I come from you have to drink every time someone says Cheers. I find it annoying.
I use, "regards" a lot, as well.
And C's right. Cheers is annoying.
I like "with thanks"...mostly because I am asking people do stuff. I am also ok with regards, though I don't use it.
