that (post below) was FUN! it felt like i was in high school (in a good way, not in a "i just totally lied to my mom and said i was at my friend's house but really at my boyfriend's house and now i'm grounded" fun way).
anyway, kanye west concert was awesome. why?
because: there was a REALLY eclectic crowd - like you wouldn't believe. young old, from all races and seemingly different TYPES of people. very cool. also - there were 5 of us, so paying for GOOD, close parking was only a couple of bucks each and TOTALLY worth it. we were on the lawn, and early on, we got some complimentary tickets for the pavilion which was really great. we danced..the ENTIRE time and it really was visually impressive (good call, T.W.I.T) and Rihanna was also very cool to watch perform. and we even stopped at a gas station on the way home and got sugared up and cured our post-dancing-all-night-hunger.
it was just a good concert (i got a little tear when he sang a song about his mom - because she just recently/unexpectedly died and all)
i know most people won't run out to see kanye west, but i'm glad that i did.
i'll stop now.
the turtle chex mix sugar hasn't worn off. clearly.

I am really not into rap at all (well except for the Beastie Boys...hehe) but there is something about Kanye's music that I like. You can't sit still when you listen to it! And I think Rihanna is adorable! I like her rock edge :)
