Do you like big cities? I wish I had lived in Chicago, even if just for a year, for the experience. Taking public transportation, the nightlife, the shopping, the restaurants, it all sounds so fantastic to me. Plus, if you are single and looking, that would probably be an awesome place to meet someone. Tons of job opportunities I would imagine. Plus it's not far from Ohio to visit family and friends.

Uhh... I posted my response in the original post. I probably should have posted it here. *sigh*

I agree with some of the previous comments, it is really what you are looking for and what is most important to you right now.

Where do you want to live? Does it matter where you live? Do you want to be near family/friends? Do you want to be at a big school/private school/some business? Is this going to be a long term venture or could it be something new and fun you just want to do for a year or so?

I really feel you on this and I hope you are able to figure it out! Sorry not more help!

Ok...I think you need to follow your gut. If your gut says move to sunny california, then do it. If it says move back to Ohio, do it.

Had I followed my gut back in the day when it said "north-central Pennsylvania is a bad idea"...I would have had a much happier 1995.

I agree with Mickey D (still LOVE that name!)...Chicago would be amazing. I wish I would have tried that city on for size after college. I'm sure the job market is way better there than it is in Ohio.

Follow your gut! :)

Ok now that you've gotten some suggestions, let's hear what you're leaning toward doing right... NOW.

Just for fun. What is the first thing that pops in your head?

i WISH i had a clear answer, really.
Ohio is a "home" to me for many reasons, but i love the weather in the South and my family there.
there may ALWAYS be an itch to do something "big" (i.e - move to another country or a big city), so i have to keep wading through my thoughts and create a POA.
i do like Two Pretzels' ideas of sending resumes to several places.
i will keep everyone posted along the way!

Well this is kind of fun for me since I have the total oppisite life of you. I'm 27. Married. And have 3 munchkins.

I'm not sure how close you live to the ocean but I think being as close to it as possible is a great idea.

To me life it not life is not about work. Find somewhere you love to live because of the environment and worry about your job second.

I kind of know how you are feeling my family is in talks of moving and where. Do we stay close to our family or do we move to a city we would truely love to raise our children in? It is not an easy decision.

Good luck.
