almost, but not quite.....again.....

a friend of mine was saying this the other day:
Almost But Bot Quite Friend: i was tossing and turning last night and i could not sleep!
Me: really? how come?
ABNQF: well, i had this down comforter on and it was too hot with it on and too hot with it off. you know, i just couldn't find that common medium!
Me: interesting.

so...did you mean happy medium or common ground? i THINK you meant happy medium, but i'm just not positive...
