i designed my very own Chuck Taylor's (converse) online. if i could show you a picture of them i would, but they won't let me copy the photo - so just know that they are pretty cool. i haven't bought them yet, but i will and when i do a portion of the proceeds will go to the (Red) funds. you know the people who endorse certain consumer items and a portion of the proceeds go to help those dying of AIDS in Africa.
so, anyway, if you want a new pair of cool shoes under the guise of helping others out, then have at it.
p.s. - i haven't bought them because i'm like "is it uncool for a 29 year old to wear Chuck Taylors?" I had a peach pair of high-tops in 2nd grade. I LOVED those shoes.

I've designed two pair of Converse Red and I will tell you, no matter what age you are, Converse are cool forever.
