this photo was taken in Vail, CO in January of 2007. my friend Mary, seen lying down with knee all being taken care of, had just been through MCL surgery 2 months prior to this photo being taken.
it was indeed fun to see her physical therapy routine, but my favorite part is that this physical therapy practice is literally at the bottom of Vail ski resort and i swear if you sat there day-in and day-out, as Mary's mother did, you'd see, on average, a snowboarder or skier every hour who had been injured on the mountain.
i thought "THIS IS INGENIOUS!!!" - i can guarantee that these doctors are making a killing.

That would be some quality entertainment to see people fall. Yeah, getting hurt is bad but it's still funny.
