what's up with me and kate winslet movies lately?
i watched Revolutionary Road this past weekend, and i really enjoyed it. it's, at times, dark and almost TOO in-your-face realistic, but i would recommend watching it for sure. it's not the Feel Good Movie of the Year, but it's thought-provoking and i feel that the acting is fantastic.
not to give anything major away, but kate winslet once again manages to have sex in a vintage car. how does she continually manage to do this? oh, and land roles with Leonardo DiCaprio!

I LOVED this movie! I read the book, and the movie was the closest book-to-film adaptation I've seen. It was wonderful! Leonardo did great playing the husband, I thought!
This is good to hear. I've heard mostly negative comments about this movie, that it brings people down, etc. But it's on my Netflix and I'm excited to watch it.
