i find it nostalgic to reflect back (thank you, Rolling Stone magazine that shows up to my door for i'm-not-sure what reason - i didn't order you) on the top 10 songs of this week from the year 2000.
the one that made me laugh the most: The Thong Song

goold old Y2K...you were musically "good" to us, but boy this makes me feel old.
UPDATED: about 15 minutes after writing this post, i was driving to work and heard Celine Dion's "That's the Way It Is" on the radio....creepy, no? i haven't heard that song in years. life is weird like that i think.

Yesterday on MTV they were showing old Spring Break coverage featuring Pauly Shore - it looked SO OLD! Bad hair, and terrible cut bikinis.
I remember sitting in my college boyfriend's apartment the first time I heard "The Thong Song".
Immediately after hearing it I said, "I hope I never hear that song again in my life."
10 years huh? Wonder where Sisqo and his silver hair are now.
