it's not so much that i get a lot of SPAM email, but i get a lot of junk email that i'm not particularly interested in every day. not sure what i was thinking to sign up for Puma shoe alerts or Classmates.com (what the heck good did that ever do? enter: facebook!)
and don't get me started on travel crap....Booking Buddy, This Week's Top 20 this or that or Continental Airlines. All just a reminder that i'm not going on vacation anytime soon to anywhere cool (ok, not counting Ohio for Christmas).
i get professional updates on all kinds of relatively-maybe legitimate stuff, high school counselor updates from the South and the Midwest, of course, i think of both as "home". CollegeCentral.com and NACAC, SACAC and every other ACAC....they all sound like a big cough/hack fest.
art.com, rue.la.la.com, oldnavy and gap. don't forget to stop by Groupon.com for the daily coupon and Amazon always knows how to hook me with yet another title that might make my overstocked with stuff i can't get around to reading bookshelf collapse.
and how did i get on so many political campaign email lists (i am not a political activist by any stretch of the imagination) and STILL have Barack emailing me in his spare time... what the heck.
so....i'm going through and unsubscribing to all the crap that i just keep deleting (some of it mentioned in this post i actually do look at and my checking account thanks me for that). so...this is the week for a "Click Here to Unsubscribe" frenzy!! Wish me luck.

Good Luck!! I get alot of junk email as well. I HATE the days when all i get in my email are junk emails. boo. That is annoying!
