oh, quiet oasis, i knew there was only one gift to give you since i didn't manage to do this on your actual birthday..... so, i give you the gift of laughter. i can see the tears in your eyes as you die laughing from these OLLLLDDD photos. OMG.
let me point out what true friend i am (not that this is about ME): i posted pics where i am wearing Teva sandals. now this would not have phased me until last night's episode of Modern Family where the old sister kept calling the young sister (wearing Teva sandals) a lesbian.
well, we both know i'm straight, so moving on...
my mission was to go to my old photo box and find the FIRST picture i could find of us. i came up with 2, but i couldn't choose between them.
LOOK how little we look. and, oh, 1998 called and wanted their short jean shorts, cropped tank tops and little purses back. 1998 does not want our haircuts back! also, let's remember that we made like $200 that summer, so certainly Goodwill was our only budget option. clearly.
oh man! these are hysterical (everyone else out there, watch out! i've learned how to scan and change formats and it only took me 1 hour to figure out).
anyhow, a VERY happy birthday to my dear friend....it's been 13 great years of friendship and here's to 13 more then 13 more then 13 more. love you.

You'll enjoy this the most.... I point to me in the first photo and ask Luke, "Who's this?" He replies, "Uncle Brad!" Guess I should've plucked those eyebrows back in 1998!

funny you should say that, QO, but the last ones i have from us (at least since i lived in Cleveland) are from your bridal shower and wedding!! i was GOING to put those, but then got this better idea and forced myself to figure out the scanning/uploading logistics. i KNEW it would allll be worth it. :)
