this weekend i'm going to asheville, NC with 2 friends from work who used to live in this town. everyone says "you'll fall in love and not want to come back".
danville, VA (my current home) is not something to compare other locations to, per se. i mean, on our water towers it says "Danville: A World Class Organization" - this ain't world class, y'all, and since when is a city referred to as an organization?
"Hey, where do you live?"
"Uh, in the organization of Danville."
see what i mean.
anyway, i can hardly wait. sign me up for a new city, some new food, hopefully a sunset (or sunrise?) like the one in the google image above. sign me up for some changing seasons and a fresh face or two, a little trinket to bring home and some laughter until my sides hurt. sign me up, most importantly, for NOT feeling guilty for taking a weekend to myself and NOT working.
