a few things for february 1st

"i'm not sure who looks good in orange, but it's not me"

1). this cartoon truly has nothing to do with anything. but i don't think i own any orange clothing currently.

2). goodbye, January, hello, February!! i'm all about flipping the calendar pages. backing away from 2010 has been good for me overall.

3). change is on the horizon. scary? yes. uncertain at the moment? certainly. exciting? i'm gonna get there.

4). i feel like spring is on the horizon. and i like that.

5). friends up North - don't freak out - but i really am coveting a good old snow day. not a scary, we-might-lose-power snow day, but just a day to be buried in. to have a GREAT excuse to be holed up in my house in my pajamas. to that end, i might schedule a self-imposed snow day in the next 10 days or so. i'll keep you posted (by the way, my snow days include powdered donuts and junk food).

6). i'm over Valentine's Day being allllll over the place. i'm kinda scrooge-ey when it comes to Valentine's Day (only when i'm single, of course)

7). this concludes this version of February First Facts from my world

I love flipping the calendar pages. I'm so happy that Spring is one calendar page away. Bring it on.

You are going to get there and that's exciting.

I think you should absolutely designate a snow day. You deserve it. But wouldn't a snow day WITH your northern friends make it that much better?! :)

Your quote about orange made me laugh out loud.

Come visit - we have a sh#t-ton of snow!

I think you need me in your part of the world if you are wanting a snow day. It worked last time. :)

I went to BG and the color is brown and orange. I had one orange sweatshirt and I looked washed out and felt like I could not just "hide" wearing bright orange. Everyone notices a 5'11" giant wearing a bright orange sweatshirt when they walk into a classroom. Don't like orange!

Yes, I am happy for February because it is almost Spring. Excited. (Though summer can take its time.)

Good luck with your "change"....you can do it!

I hate valentine's day. But I do like the sale on candy!
