mostly a good day.

aside from the crude teenagers talking about stupid stuff filling my ears with weird, weird stuff and bad words, today has been good.

1). i accidentally put on the only pair of fuschia underwear that just happens to have a heart on them. just so you know.

2). i misplaced some shoes that i brought home and i bought a pair of red ones instead. no, they don't match my outfit, but it's my way of doing the whole "if you can't beat them, join them" thing

3). i saw our friend Written Permission at work. totally surprised her last-minute with my "i'm 5 minutes away, you want to get together". that was so fun. i wish i could surprise her every monday.

4). i bought this framed picture above. the yellows and robin egg's blues are much prettier in real life. and i plan on doing something fun with it. like hanging int my living room and adding other implements inspired by the print. i've wanted to buy something "grown up" for my living room wall for awhile.

5). i get to steal my friend, Metacognitive Musings, for the evening. the last time i showed up at her house, it was her anniversary. too bad i keep taking all the romantic evenings away from her husband. i also get to see my friend, Kat, but she doesn't have a blog so i can't hyperlink her! boo.
