i cancelled it and am reconsidering having it reconnected again. is there some sort of short-term internet solution? i hate to pay to have it installed for another 2 months or so....
why haven't we reached the day where an internet signal just sort of hovers over the entire Earth? i thought we'd be there by now.
i guess i was wrong. any other ideas?

Can your phone be used at a "hub" to get a signal?
I was going to suggest a smartphone, too. Not sure if you can bounce connectivity to your computer, though...
Oh don't even get my husband started on this. I think he has a scientific man crush on Tesla and that is one of the things he worked on....creating wireless energy devices to power objects in our home. The same technology could be used for so many different things, including internet. BUT, you don't make money off free power! T. says even though we have the means it won't happen because of big business. BOOOOOO!
As for what do internet wise, I am sorry I have no clue but I hope you figure something out!
