Every year that I live in the South, I am always amazed at the tobacco fields. At this point one might think that tobacco is manufactured somehow (not sure how) or at least it would involve more technology. In fact, people plant this by hand as well as harvest it. The rows of tobacco always pull me in 2 directions - on one hand they are really beautiful and on the other hand I simply think of the money-maker this addictive plant is.

If I passed that. . . I wouldn't even know what it is. My ignorance can be blaring sometimes. :)
They are nice looking plants, ironically enough.
That's a surprisingly beautiful plant.
(Craig's Dad's brothers and his family were all tobacco farmers...)
