I am semi-dog-sitting this handsome little devil below (the semi part is a longer story, a friend from grad school is dog sitting and is moving places and needs help, I can't say no.....ugh). He is a Bisenji (sp?) and his owner is clearly neurotic.
I hope to never meet his owner, and especially not in a dark alley.
So far, Night has proven to have some extreme separation anxiety. Given the fact that his owner takes him nearly everywhere he goes, this devil doesn't know what to do when left alone. I was gone for 3 hours last night and he moved a huge cage across my kitchen then living room. leaving a wake of destruction in his path.
It gets better.
At some point mid-night, he came out to my living room and simply lifted his leg on my couch as though it were a tree. Yep. He peed everywhere.
It gets better.
He peed on my pug's ear by mistake this morning. And often acts as though he will bite her ear off (picture MikeTyson) if she makes one false move.
And.....wait for it.....
Has diarrhea from eating my pug's food.
Needless to say, I don't know how long even I will hold up under these circumstances. But he is kinda cute when he's sleeping.

When I first started reading I was laughing. After reading more, though, I just feel really bad for you.

Seriously, I don't know if I could handle that. Peeing on my pet would have done it!
You are right, he is cute when he is sleeping. If only you could have him sleep all the time :)
