has it been noted....

........that i hear a lot of Prince on the way to and from work.
is Prince popular in the South? i feel like maybe he is.
or is it that i haven't commuted to work in a long time and Prince is a popular musician filling the soundwaves of various FM dials around the country.
he and George Michael really are in a class of their own.
I hear GM a lot too (the last time i thought he was popular was when i was in Israel in 1999; this says something about Southern America and Israel and their likenesses).

On the topic of Prince...
I was never a fan back in the day but I seem to have found a new appreciation for him. Granted, I was only 12 when the eighties officially ended and what sort of sick 12 year old would feel and\y sex appeal or Prince? As I have aged there is something about his musical stylings that in the very least intruigues me. In fact, the song I would count as my guilty pleasure, contains one of my most hated words, the "P" word. "P" Control. Kudos to Prince for being a 5 ft. tall energizer bunny, he's been around for a while and I think he will continue to be, at least in greatest hits albums if nothing else.
