kudos go out the Molasses Grill of South Boston, VA, (maybe for a 2nd time)?
this little gem of a restaurant never ceases to amaze me. due to the fact that fine dining DOESN'T really exist in too many locations in this area (think: biscuitville, mary's diner, applebees, bojangles, etc.)....this is always a treat.
last night i had pan seared chicken with capers and a teeny bit of little ham slices over cheese grits with asparagus. nice.

I knew from the get go that this place was a gem when we first went there. I'm glad it continues to please! My parents have one of those diamond in the rough places they absolutely love, I'm happy you do too.

The atmosphere is great too. Somewhat sophisticated, but not intimidating...and they have 24 oz. cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon!!! That makes this place a five star joint inmy book!
