who thinks of this?!

as i was driving home yesterday, i noticed that the inside of my car windows were streaky/dirty. and i thought, "i should clean them with newspaper so they don't streak".
i've never done this before, only heard of it.
but then i got to thinking........."who thinks of these things?!" - who, one day, decides to try cleaning glass with newspaper in hopes that it doesn't streak - and, low and behold, it doesn't! what other items did they try before the newspaper was successful?

My Mom swears by newspaper and I have to admit, she's right.

She also uses some vinegar/water mixture to clean glass and it looks awesome.

However, I was most in awe of THIS tip of hers:

When washing the inside of a window, only do so in horizontal, side-to-side strokes.

Then, when doing the outside of the same window, only do vertical, up-and-down strokes. That way, if you DO have streaks, you can easily figure out which side of the window they're on.

I'm telling you, it works.

Wow, FANCY, kylee!

In photography classes, we learned to use paper to clean glass while framing. It does work and leaves less lint than paper towel.

My poor house wouldn't know, it's lucky if it sees Windex once every couple months. :)
