all in a day's work....

last week, i had encouraged a parent to call a college to set up a visit and to make sure that the students weren't on spring break when he scheduled it. it seems a bit pointless to see a bunch of buildings and green grass, but not the college students who attend.
he wrote this in an email and i laughed many times about it:
"Thanks for the good idea to check with the schools to be sure that the students are not on break. That would be sorta like going to visit the zoo when the animals are gone."
