what can $25 a week get you as a college freshman?

well, funny you should ask!
if you are a college student attending Arizona State University, $25 a week sure can get you a lot, in fact.
you can drop your laundry off at various points on campus and pick it up 24 hours later at the same spot. you will also enjoy 24 bottles of water delivered to your doorstep every other week.
and the icing on the cake is that your bathroom will also be cleaned every other week.
yep.
gone are the days of collecting quarters for laundry.
gone are the days of drinking tap water.
and LONG gone are the days of DOING YOUR OWN LAUNDRY!
why are we prolonging the learning of doing laundry?
puhlease! i had to walk uphill both ways to do the darn laundry. ok, maybe NOT, but i did have to do it myself and collect quarters to do so.

do you think you would have paid $800 per school year for this?

I would not have paid for this service. I was poor. I think it is good for college students to finally learn the art of laundry. Better to ruin a few clothes in college than during your first days in a real job. I think that's pathetic anyway.... what's the world coming to?

By the way.... I walked up the hill both ways IN BARE FEET when snow was on the ground to do my laundry! :)

That is crazy, it is all part of the college experience!

Doing your laundry at random hours so you can get a free washer and dryer, going home to get a bag of quarters that your parents have saved for you, or actually offering to clean someones room so you can get some quarters b/c you haven't done your laundry in weeks! It is part of the fun and, oh yeah, something you should know how to do!
