isn't it funny how one simple word can change something, and make it hold more weight or not?
for instance....miss ya is WAY different than miss you.
and love ya is way different than love you.
when my dad says "love ya" in an instant message, i don't like it. that's my
dad.
you would be correct, Dad.
you just holds more weight, but "ya" is appropriate and useful at times too.

I can see this.
I always use love you with my family and husband, never "ya". I will use "love ya" with my friends at times on emails and such just b/c it seems more casual. I do think I always use miss you though, not miss ya.
Hmm...intersting to think about.
Totally agree here. "Ya" does not put it all out there. "You" is a full commitment.
