these things stink. they are overtaking the Mid Atlantic proportions and they are called stink bugs. however, the few of them that have shown up in my house are not this lime green color as seen above. they are more like Army green which makes me think of them as little warriors. which they are. anyway, i was about to put this old sweeper (that's Midwest for vacuum cleaner) in the trash and i remembered that the man on the news told me that i should have a designated Stink Bug Vacuum Cleaner. so, i walked out to my trash pile and put it back in its place.
which may have done the trick with keeping them away for the most part thus far.
so, i will keep my old sweeper armed for battle. and wait for the chinese invaders to take charge. they will be no match for my good old Hoover.

Agree, why do you need a separate sweeper?
i guess they stink so badly that you would make your normal sweeper smell really badly if you don't have a separate thing? they say "suck them up in your extra vacuum cleaner and then empty the bag as soon as possible".
luckily i don't have many....so hopefully they'll steer clear of me!!
