productive procrastination is a true art form.....

.......and i am Creative Director this week, apparently.

so, i go to DC for 4.5 days this week for a professional conference.

sweet. love the city, love a change of scenery, hoping the cherry blossoms are still there for me to see (if i'm lucky) and i'm just all-around ready to get away for a bit.

so, like any normal person, i have a huge TO-DO list with work and the home before i go. you know, the usual, getting dog food, dog-sitting lined up, work madness (understatement), school papers to write and on and on.

what am i doing instead (while in class this morning) - securing these gems for pick-up on Friday afternoon:

Georgetown Cupcakes - the best. a mere $15.00 for a 6-pack of their daily flavors (plus one Cherry Blossom flavor to seal the deal).

Oh, I love me some fancy cupcakes.

We went to this place in Hilton Head that had amazing cupcakes and they were $3.50 each! (I can make a dozen cupcakes for that) But they were really tasty.

And I agree, productive procrastination IS an art form!
