ULTRA-LATE book review

my new blogging friend, 31derful, reminded me of a much overdue book review that i forgot to add back in february.
my good friend, formerly of Metacognitive Musings blogging fame (ahem...come back) has a mother who is very kindly interested in my finding a proper mate before my hair all turns gray and i qualify for any senior citizen discounts.

she proudly got me this book by Cindy Lu (not from Whoville, that i know) - The Four Man Plan (website here).
it has GOT to be the funniest, but MOST logical, piece i've ever read on being single and dating. i say piece because although it's a book, i read it in 2 days...very quick read.
the premise is that science/math can be coupled with the dating world, in a way that could actually work. it gives light-hearted, and sound - might i add, advice on dating sensibly and with an open mind, being honest, and committing ultimately to one person who is loving, willing and honest.
which all sounds so absolutely routine and boooooooring. i digress, but it's kind of one of those things that you have to read to understand.
the blogger formerly known as Metacognitive Musings and i laughed until we cried when i was flipping through and read an exercise called "A Powwow with your Hoo-ha", where the exercise wraps up with a stick figure of the author saying "Sit down Va-jay-jay!"

if i lived in a place populated with some decent, educated men - perhaps i'd be putting this book and its principles to use, but alas i do not - so i will just spread the word that this book is a must-read for singles who are lost in the chaos that is the dating world today
